1. Introduction

to cancel your service contract with us; and
to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value.

You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have problems with the service rectified in a reasonable time and, if this is not done, to cancel your contract and obtain a refund for the unused portion of the contract.

4. Quotations and Estimates

All quotations provided by Epoxy Flooring Syd are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Quotes are based on the information provided by you and the condition of the surfaces as assessed during site inspection. Additional charges may apply if:

The condition of the surface differs from what was initially assessed
Additional preparation work is required
Changes are made to the scope of work after the quote is accepted
Access to the site is restricted or delayed

All prices quoted include GST unless otherwise stated.

5. Payment Terms

For residential projects, we require a 50% deposit to secure your booking, with the balance due upon completion of the work. For commercial projects over $10,000, we offer the following payment structure:

30% deposit to secure your booking
30% upon commencement of work
40% upon completion of work

We accept payment via bank transfer, credit card, or cash. Credit card payments may incur a 1.5% processing fee.

6. Warranties

Epoxy Flooring Syd provides a 5-year warranty on workmanship for all epoxy flooring installations, subject to proper care and maintenance. This warranty excludes damage caused by:

Improper cleaning or maintenance
Chemical damage from substances not disclosed during consultation
Structural issues or movement in the substrate
Acts of nature or extraordinary circumstances
Abuse, negligence, or misuse

Manufacturer warranties for products used will be passed on to the client where applicable.

7. Installation and Site Conditions

The client is responsible for ensuring the site is accessible, clean, and ready for installation as per our pre-installation guidelines. Additional charges may apply if our team cannot commence work due to site unpreparedness.

Epoxy flooring installation requires specific temperature and humidity conditions. We reserve the right to reschedule installation if environmental conditions could compromise the quality of the finished product.

8. Intellectual Property

The content of this website, including text, graphics, logos, icons, and images, is the property of Epoxy Flooring Syd and is protected by Australian copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without our express written permission.

We reserve the right to use photographs of completed projects for marketing purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Epoxy Flooring Syd's liability for any defect or failure in the supplied services is limited to the resupply of the services or the payment of the cost of having the services supplied again, at our discretion.

We will not be liable for any indirect, special, or consequential loss or damage, including loss of profits or revenue, arising from the use of our services.
